Boston-based rock ‘n’ soul band Reckoners to drop their new studio album “Where the Hell Am I?” May 15th, 2026 via Gitcha Records
Rooted in soul and steeped in rock ‘n’ roll, Reckoners is a Boston-based band built from some of the region’s most respected and road-tested musicians.
Fronted by singer and guitarist Tim Gearan, the group features guitarist and band leader Johnny Trama (Bettye LaVette, The Silks, Dub Apocalypse), drummer Tom Arey (Peter Wolf, The J. Geils Band, G. Love, Vapors of Morphine), bassist Marc Hickox (Bettye LaVette, Charlie Musselwhite), and keyboardist Darby Wolf (Bettye LaVette, Rubblebucket). Together, they channel the grit and groove of classic soul and rock into something timeless and deeply personal.
Their self-produced debut album — now streaming on all major platforms — has drawn more than 43,000 monthly listeners and features the standout single “Looking for a Reason” with guest vocals by Susan Tedeschi. Relix Magazine recently said of this collaboration, “On the kickoff, the Tedeschi Trucks Band singer pairs perfectly with Gearan’s honey-smoked voice, heralding a set of 11 tracks dipped generously in slow-boiling roots rock, blues and soul.”
Reckoners have been building momentum across New England with sold-out headline shows and support slots alongside artists including Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Wallflowers, and Bonnie Raitt.
Reckoners new album “Where the Hell Am I” drops May 15th, 2026 on vinyl, CD and DSPs via Gitcha Records.
